Why shouldn't I bring my car to the car wash? It's way cheaper.
Car washes may be cheaper but your vehicle will only look clean for a day and then appear the dirty the next day. This doesn't include all the swirl marks and small scratches that your car will leave with. At MJ Detail Garage, our priority is longevity, making sure your car looks clean and stays that way as long as possible, all for the most reasonable price.
How often should I get my car detailed?
Depending on the condition and needs of the car, a full service detail should occur at least once a month, and a deep cleaning should occur at least once every 3 months. This helps protect your car against environmental hazards, helps preserve the interior, and improve your car's elegance and shine.
How long will you have my car in the shop?
How long the car will stay in the shop depends on environmental factors, customer demands, and the cleaning package selected. For most instances, the the service will be completed in the same day, but for advanced services, overnight stay may be required.
What kind of products will you use to clean my car?
Your car will be cleaned with pH--balanced soaps that are best for ceramic coating and ensuring your car gets long--lasting protection and cleanliness. In addition, your car will be cleaned with deionized water, which has better filtration and prevents particles in the water coming through to scratch your paint. We are equipped with a variety of other tools to ensure that the standards of every package is exceeded.
Do I need to remove personal items from my car before starting the interior detailing?
Yes. In accordance with the our company's policies, the customer should remove as many personal belongings as possible prior to cleaning. To view more information, please refer to our waiver.
Are there any maintenance tips I should follow after the ceramic coating? Is there any kind of warrantee?
After the ceramic coating dries, there are no immediate maintenance requirements. We recommend that future car washing should be brought back to us to be conducted by hand with ceramic-friendly soaps. This will prevent stripping of the ceramic coating and preserve the car's luxurious shine. If you don't feel comfortable washing the car yourself, you can view our maintenance plans or our specialty services and packages to schedule an appointment to ensure your vehicle gets cleaned with the best products to maintain its shine and protection.
Are there any restrictions for cars eligible for detailing?
There are no restrictions, but an initial consultation is required for dents or deep paint scratches.
